Last month some of the people who have been in the Fat Quarters and some honorary Fat Quarters friends packed their stuff and took off for the Lied Lodge in Nebraska City, Nebraska for a week of faux-PB-fun

The Lied Lodge is a great meeting place about an hour

 from the International Quilt Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Carolyn, the IQSC curator (between Georgann & Barbara here) gave us a wonderful tour of the quilt show and the storage area.

We showed her some of our quilts inspired by some of hers.

Mickey's New Book in the Fall

Mickey has a new book scheduled to be in shops in October. It's featured in the new C&T printed  catalog, which says it will have information on 12 painting techniques.

The digital C&T catalog includes two other products by Mickey.

One is an eBook of her out-of-print SkyDyes book. You can put it on your laptop.

The other is a DVD with 3 hours of tutorials on her techniques.
