Trip to Ireland & England

Several PtBonitaites traveled to the British Isles to see the quilt exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Bettina and Brenda took these pictures. In the town of Quilty, Ireland they found a place to hang at the Quilty Tavern.

They saved the V&A till last. Bettina's far-away stare might indicate that she is ready to go home.
The two women on the right are Emer in the front row and Maeve in the back, Irish friends of Bettina's.

Emer's been quilting on this Feathered Star for some time.

There was scenery too.

They saw a show about red in Wales. Here's a stack of Turkey red.

Had tea (and Coca Cola) at Bath.
