Mickey Featured at Vermont Quilt Festival

Mickey will have a solo show at this summer's Vermont Quilt Festival.
Life’s Work: The Quilts and Painted Fabrics of Mickey Lawler
June 29-July 1, 2012

Here's what they say about her:
"Connecticut quilt artist and fabric painter Mickey Lawler has dazzled and delighted quilters around the world for more than 30 years. The name of her business, Skydyes, only partially describes the beauty and variety of her painted fabrics. Her years of teaching and vending exposed thousands of students and visitors to her work, with the result that her fabrics have shown up in countless quilts over the years. This exhibit showcases not only her wonderful quilts and luminous painted fabrics, but quilts by her friends and students that incorporate those fabrics."
